Everything you Told Me is my first book by Lucy Dawson, even though I have her previous novel You Sent Me a Letter on my never ending TBR pile, but as I ve heard many good things about this author and her writing, I made sure to read the newest release in time for its publication This book turned out to be a great slow burner, with brilliantly developed characters and complex plot It was an ambitious, clever and twisty read that stays in your mind even if you re not reading it I was already hook [...]

What a wonderfully stupid and engrossing story, bit like a good soap opera, you know that it s ridiculous but you keep watching to see how it ends This story was unbelievable, but so well told, that I just kept on the journey until the end, and the final twists in the last pages.Great light hearted read.

Good psychological thriller Suspenseful but some parts dragged on The ending was a bit predictable However I didn t really get the point of it all Maybe I d lost interest by then and missed the reasoning because I had guessed the ending so much earlier The why of it all just didn t make sense to me.

Very predictable.

The second book I ve read by this author, the first one I read, You Sent Me A Letter, starts off with a good hook first chapter and turned into a page turner Everything You Told Me sits in the same place.A cleverly woven complex plot this is a slow burner building to the crescendo of an ending The pace was constantly climbing through the novel and at one point it s not certain who Sally can trust Just when you think you ve sussed it Lucy Dawson throws another curve ball into the mix.I do have a [...]

This was a engrossing read with an excellent starting point I was hooked from the very first page Dawson gives a rather bleak outlook on domestic life after two children but I sided with our MC constantly, and felt so much frustration on her behalf throughout the novel, which I think is a consequence of the great writing I did however feel that the big reveal was obvious and easily reduced down to an often seen trope in thrillers which I won t reveal because of spoilers I also feel like it was s [...]

1st I put 5 stars then 4 so it s really a 4.5 A little predictable but still a really good listen The climax could have been drawn out a little The whole book was a good build up and then the author just dumped out the climax and moved on the 5months later The climax could have revealed its self a little skillfully Good psychological thriller.

I found this book very difficult to complete It s about a woman that wakes up 300 miles away from home dazed and confused and the entirety of the book is how no one can believe her Everyone is against her including her own husband It dragged on with I can t remember how I got here so may times that I wanted to pull my hair out Save yourself the time and buy the cliff notes version instead

This woman is so dense.

Really enjoyed this book from start to finish Kept me guessing until the end.

I loved the narrator Audible the story was good and kept me wanting .

An excellent psychological thriller I must say I saw whodunit from the beginning, but it was still entertaining and suspenseful The performance by Jessica Ball is very good.

This book was fantastic, I have read it in 2 days I couldn t put it down Riveting.
