Everything is pretty cool until you hit the KGB reveal, then it starts to go downhill Grimwood does an awful job of trying to explain the science it works better in the parts where he just leaves blanks for the reader to fill in I enjoyed Sharon and Graham s relationship and interactions The end of the book gets rather silly as it turns into chases and keep away, which isn t nearly as interesting as the investigative work earlier in the book.

First half pretty decent Similar to Into the Deep with the multiple storylines converging Second half seems like a different story Maybe Grimwood stepped away for a while and decided to turn the story in a different direction I did not like part two and found it difficult to push myself to finish I d recommend Replay and Into the Deep as Grimwood s better books
